Warts, Ways To Remove These Ugly Things

Warts are caused by different strains of the papilloma virus. They thrive in moist environments. If you have plantar warts, try to keep your feet dry. Wear sandals when you can. The virus contained on the outside of the wart/s is easily spread. Leave it alone! This is difficult when it comes to children. However, there have been cases of children, who's warts disappeared suddenly. As yet there is not a 100% explanation of this.

There are several methods to wart/s removal. You can have them surgically removed, use OTC's, or go the herbal route. Surgery is not only expensive, but should only be used as a last resort. When nothing else has worked. OTC's contain salicylic acid. This will not only remove the wart, but also the skin around it. You'll want to be careful in the application process when you use OTC's. In rare cases, the wart/s returned.

If you choose the herbal route, my best recommendation is; 'White Cedar', also know as, 'Thuja Oxidentalis'. I have seen first hand how effective this herb is. By the end of the second day, there was no indication at their ever being any warts. Be warned; this herb is toxic! Only use it as a topical treatment.

Black Birch bark is also another herb to use. This herb contains salicylic acid, the main ingredient used in OTC's.

As with all medications, whether prescriptions, OTC's, or herbal remedies, be sure to read and follow the instructions. This article is here to show you, there are other options than surgery in the removal of warts.
